Marta Phillips

Owner and Ballet Mistress in Chief
"Truly an institution in the Brevard County arts community!"

Prior to arriving in Brevard County, Marta was a Russian-trained professional ballet dancer who danced throughout Europe. After moving to Brevard County, she founded the Cocoa Village Dance Studio. Subsequently, the studio relocated to Merritt Island as Marta's Dance Studio.

Marta has been teaching for over 25 years and is renowed for the quality of her shows each year. Marta is loved and revered by all who know her. Some of her students have been with her for over 20 years! It is not unusual for an adult who danced with Marta years ago, to stop in the studio and say hello; and even begin taking classes again!

In Memorium:
The staff and families would like to remember Paul Dean, Marta's husband who passed away in February of 2006. Paul was loved and admired by all, and is deeply missed.
