            Nathaniel Knepper-Quijano Acting 1/2 & Voice 1/2

Nathaniel Knepper-Quijano has been studying acting and performing since the age of six.  He began classes at Creative Arts Theatre and School in Arlington, TX, the only all youth theatre (both onstage and behind the scenes) in the country. He was cast in his first musical in 2002, Frosty the Snowman, where he shared a single line with another child. However, it was enough to instill in him a love and passion for live theatre, and present to him the art of acting – the magical journey of taking an audience along with you into another world. Nathaniel has been involved in theatre ever since.

In 2006 Nathaniel began acting professionally when he joined Linda McAlister Talent. He has appeared in national commercials for Denny’s, Topo Chicco Softdrinks, EDS, Hasbro, and many others. He has done industrials for Boy Scouts of America, EDS, and American Eagle Airlines, and appeared in reoccurring roles in Barney and Friends on PBS, and Fun to Grow On on Verizon Network. He also appeared in a Barney and Friends video entitled Riff’s Clubhouse.

Nathaniel is a former member of Kitten Company, a prestigious youth musical theatre touring company in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. In 2011 Nathaniel was accepted into the Youth Choir for The Fox Theatre’s run of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the King Center.

His theatrical roles are numerous, and highlights include William Barfee in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Archie in 13, Mowgli in The Jungle Book, Ugly in Honk, The Artful Dodger in Oliver! (for which he won an Ony Award for Best Youth Actor), and Michael in Peter Pan.

Nathaniel has trained extensively for live theatre, including years of acting, musical theatre, and private voice lessons. He has had private tap dance lessons from Gracey Tune, and attended many professional acting workshops. He is an active member of The Stars of Tomorrow Program at the Cocoa Village Playhouse, currently takes dance lessons from Tracy Wines, and was the President of Rockledge High School’s Drama Club. He is also an active member of Rockledge Church of the Nazarene choir and enjoys participating in special performances at the church, as well as volunteering in the technical level during services.

Nathaniel is enrolled in the International Cambridge Program. He plans to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre, where he would like to continue studying performance and begin to learn more about directing. One day, he would like to work professionally and consistently in either acting or directing, without calling a cardboard box home.

Nathaniel is currently represented by the Diamond Agency.
